Aerial HD Helicam by Land Ops

Now your off road event will not only be filmed from off road chase vehicles, but we're taking to the sky. We are currently building two helicam ships. The Align T-REX 600 is the heli of choice to carry the video gear. We're equipping the helicopters with a flight stabilizing system by FMA known as Co-Pilot II since most of our shots will require level flight anyways. By November 2009 Land Ops will launch a new camera ship with a Sony HDR-CX100 full HD (1920 x 1080) on a fixed under body gimbal mount. The events after November 2009 will feature a second camera ship with full retractable landing gear to make way for a 360 degree, 2-axis gimbal camera mount. This 360 degree setup will require two operators; a heli-pilot and a camera operator. We provide both the off road stage and the adventure video.

On camera ship two we are considering the "Mobile Monitor" manufactured by Helicam Solution with live video down link for accurate camera control.
