Geocachers get chased by a Hero. That's a GoPro Hero HD video camera. This April 30th we'll start shooting video with these little puppies. They mount just about anywhere including our aerial helicam. This off road geocaching event will be recorded in HD and music videos will be produced using the top segments. Chris's Transcript

Hello everyone, my name is Chris Doering, founder of Land Ops.

I'm your executive ops director online and I'm your tactical ops director in the field.

We have a support team based in California. We're introducing a unique playbook of activities that incorporate aspects of geocaching with off road camping and exploration. Now, the off road part is not extreme rock crawling or negotiating difficult, black diamond trails. No, rather it's an easier off road experience where someone can bring their two wheel drive pickup truck or SUV that's never been off road before, drive it, get it dirty without the extreme risk of breaking it. So this opens the door for more people to get out there, and what I like to say, explore the hidden trails and treasures of our land. Oh yes, and because many might find the beautiful remote areas we visit to be boring after a few hours, since we're all so surrounded by technology all the time, we bring technology with us and play with it. So we're sort of a technical science fair on wheels.

For those who own a four wheel drive vehicle or maybe you have a toy hauler with dirt bikes, quads, or other ATV's...you'll have even more fun, because you won't be just driving around with hair in the wind without a mission, but you'll have particular objectives. For you Land Ops combines your love of off road riding and adventuring, you know the MACHO STUFF, with technology, gadgets and games, the GEEK STUFF.  So Land Ops is appreciated most by macho geeks. If you don't like the word macho, substitute the word adventurer. Either way macho/geek, adventurer/geek, these are the characteristics of a Land Ops enthusiast.

Our long term objective is to offer unique off road games in technology and adventures throughout the western United States.

It is not our intention to build the Land Ops adventure model in a traditional fashion.

We fully intend to build Land Ops through membership advancement. Members advancing into key field and organizer positions. I see Land Ops events becoming very unique talked about adventures, but I in vision the development of Land Ops as a journey into adventure and an opportunity for those who learn to contribute to the group.

We'll see you in the field. Until then; be sure to make every day, nothing less, than absolutely an adventure of lifetime.

Chris
