The Adventure Model
Land Ops is owned and operated by Chris Doering. Although Land Ops is registered as a business and is featured on a dot com web-site the Land Ops Meetup group, membership and events are not conducted for profit. Both membership and the adventures we host are free. Our adventures are centered around exploration, navigation and communication.

Any business transactions that may be conducted by Land Ops outside of the membership and events will be ventures with the intention of benefiting the membership, funding future events and prizes, providing unique adventures services to third parties, and developing the Land Ops brand.

The Land Ops Venture
Land Ops is a pioneering venture as much as we are an adventure group. We remain open to new possibilities, alliances, ideas and growth. As much as we explore the interior of our land through our expedition style events, we are also willing to explore new frontiers, projects and business opportunities that may present themselves through our membership as well as through outside contacts.

Commitment to our Membership
Land Ops is committed to providing our membership with unique adventures. At no time will we burden our membership by requiring fees for general membership or to attend public events.

Land Ops Leadership
The Land Ops leadership shall be recruited from within the general membership. Members possessing skills and displaying commitment may be selected to organize, assist, co-organize or head up certain projects, events and ventures. The leadership shall consist primarily of qualified volunteers, however, compensation for particular services may be rendered on a case by case basis.

Donations
Donations are accepted from anyone, including members, and are received with much appreciation. Donations go towards events and prizes. Any organization or individual that donates to Land Ops will receive a thank you gift deemed appropriate by the Land Ops leadership. Gifts vary from simple recognition on our web-sites to fully developed advertisements for videos and media publications.

Sponsorship and Advertisement
Sponsors wishing to support Land Ops and our membership will be evaluated for their intention, their benefit and contribution to our membership and their alignment with the Land Ops venture. Advertisers wishing to showcase products and services to Land Ops and our membership will be evaluated in the same light as sponsors.
